This section lists all the pokemon who learn breeding moves and shows you the moves it can learn. It also tells what pokemon can breed with another pokemon. This information is also available in Pokedex 4.0.

Abra
Breeding Information (GSC Feature Only)
Note: When ever a pokemon "Family" is mentioned, it means all of the pokemon that are related by evolution. The lowest level adult pokemon of a Family are always used in front of the word "Family". (for example: the Chikorita Family refers to Chikorita, Bayleef, and Meganium)
Breeding Groups: Group 4 - Humanshape Pokemon -

Egg Moves: Barrier Mate with male Mr. Mime
Encore Mate with male Mr. Mime
Light Screen Mate with male Electabuzz or Mr. Mime

Egg Moves: Foresight Mate with a male from Hoothoot family.
Pursuit Mate with a male from Doduo, Fearow, or Murkrow Family
Whirlwind Mate with a male from Pidgey Family.


Aipom
Breeding Information (GSC Feature Only)
Note: When ever a pokemon "Family" is mentioned, it means all of the pokemon that are related by evolution. The lowest level adult pokemon of a Family are always used in front of the word "Family". (for example: the Chikorita Family refers to Chikorita, Bayleef, and Meganium)
Breeding Groups: Group 7 - Ground Pokemon -
Pokemon Compatibility:
Egg Moves: Agility Mate with a male from Girafarig, Growlithe, Pikachu, Ponyta, or Sneasel Family.
Beat Up Mate with male Sneasel.
Counter First, breed a male Heracross with a female Paras/Parasect, next breed any male offspring with Counter with a female from the Chikorita Family. Then, breed the male offspring to a female from Rhyhorn Family. Lastly, mate male offspring of that union with a female Aipom.
Doubleslap Mate a male from Clefairy or Jigglypuff Family to Pikachu/Raichu; Evolve male Pichu with Doubleslap and mate to Aipom.
Pursuit Breed with a male Dunsparce, Rattata Family, Tauros, or Umbreon.
Screech Mate with a male from the Dunsparce, Ekans, Mankey, Meowth, Psyduck Family, or Sneasel or Umbreon.
Slam Breed with a male from the Pikachu, Sentret, or Wooper Family.
Spite Mate with male Dunsparce.


Bellsprout
Breeding Information (GSC Feature Only)
Note: When ever a pokemon "Family" is mentioned, it means all of the pokemon that are related by evolution. The lowest level adult pokemon of a Family are always used in front of the word "Family". (for example: the Chikorita Family refers to Chikorita, Bayleef, and Meganium)
Breeding Groups: Group 1 - Plant Pokemon -
Pokemon Compatibility:
Egg Moves: Encore First, mate a male Clefairy/Clefable or Togetic with Encore (via pre-evolved forms) with a female from Hoppip Family. Then, mate a male Hoppip offspring (with Encore) to female from the Bellsprout Family.
Leech Life Mate with a male from Paras Family.
Reflect Mate with a male from Chikorita or Exeggcute Family.
Swords Dance Teach RBY TM03 (Swords Dance) to a pokemon from the Bellsprout, Bulbasaur, Oddish, Paras, or Tangela Family. Trade that pokemon into GSC and, if male, mate with female from Bellsprout Family.
Synthesis Mate with a male from Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Hoppip, or Sunkern Family.


Bulbasaur

Breeding Groups: Group 1 - Plant Pokemon Group 11 - Monster Pokemon
Pokemon Compatibility:
Egg Moves: Razor Wind Teach RBY TM02 (Razor Wind) to RBY Butterfree or Venomoth, then transfer to GSC. If male, breed with a female from the Paras Family. Then breed male offspring with Razor Wind to female from the Bulbasaur Family.
Safeguard Mate with a male from the Chikorita Family.
Petal Dance Mate with a male from the Oddish Family, or Sunflora
Light Screen Mate with a male from the Chikorita Family or Mareep Family.
Skull Bash Mate with a male from the Squirtle Family.


Caterpie

Breeding Groups: Group 12 - Fairy Pokemon -
Pokemon Compatibility:
Egg Moves: Heal Bell Teach wild male Smeargle Heal Bell, catch it, then breed it with a female from Snubbull Family. Then breed a male offspring with the move to Chansey Family.
Metronome Mate with male Clefairy/Clefable or Togetic.
Present Mate a male Delibird with Present to a pokemon from the Marill, Pikachu, or Snubbull Family. Then breed male offspring with move to Chansey Family.
